    <p class="note">If your doctors have told you that a stoma will be made during the operation, this means that a section of your intestine will be diverted to the outside and a "bag" will be placed over it.
        Before the operation, a meeting will be organised with one of the stoma nurses, who will teach you how to manage this new condition with serenity.

        After the procedure, you will be followed by the Stoma Care Center, which according to regional law is "the point of reference to which the stoma bearer turns for any problem that arises".
        
        In this facility, stoma nurses collaborate with many other specialists (surgeons, psychologists, dieticians, nutritionists, gastroenterologists, urologists, social workers) to offer, as needed, visits, interviews, educational interventions, training sessions, dressings, prescriptions for stoma products or anything else needed, with the aim of helping you and your family to reorganize your daily activities, leisure, sports and work as soon as possible.
        
        The necessary checks will be carried out during hospitalization and then in the Center's outpatient clinic, for the entire duration of the rehabilitation program.</p>
